Welcome to the legislation.gov.uk Community Editorial Wiki

Navigation

You can navigate this Wiki using the Table of Contents below, or you can access the Main Page and the main sections of the Wiki from any page by following the links on the left hand side of the screen above the ‘Tools’ menu.

Search function

You can search the Wiki using the search box at the top right corner of your screen.

For best results use double quotes around a phrase. Adding an asterisk to the end of your search term will also pick up any variations, e.g. using the search term “drafter*” should pick up “drafter”, “drafter’s, “drafters’” , etc.

The search will bring up a list of links to pages containing your search term. You can see which section a page is in from the title, which will always begin with the section name. For example if a page is in the Editorial Update section, the page title will start with Editorial Update/

To narrow down your search, choose only from the page links in the section that relates to the task your search is about. Selecting a link will take you to the relevant page and you can then use ‘Ctrl F’ to find each occurrence of your search term on that page.

Familiarising yourself with the contents of the Wiki, as set out in the Table of Contents below, before you carry out a search, will help you to find what you are looking for.
