Welcome to the legislation.gov.uk Community Editorial Wiki. This is an interim version of the Wiki, which is currently undergoing some changes. You can navigate this Wiki using the Table of Contents below, or you can access the Main Page and the main sections of the Wiki from any page by following the links in the Navigation menu on the left of the screen.

To find what you need, you can either browse the Wiki's main sections; Revising Legislation, Editorial Principles, Preparation Tasks, Research Tasks and Editorial Update, using the links set out below, or you can use the search function.

Navigation Tip: When you click on a link to a page or a section within the Wiki, use the back button on your browser to return to the previous page, or navigate back to the Main Page.

Search Tip: For best results use double quotes around a phrase. The search will produce a list of pages containing your search term: click on one of the page links and then search that page using ‘Ctrl F’ to find your search term on that page. Adding an asterisk to the end of your search term will also pick up any variations, e.g. using the search term “drafter*” should pick up “drafter” , “drafter’s, “drafters’” , etc.
